Denise Merle

Denise Merle is a senior vice president and chief administration officer for Weyerhaeuser Company where she oversees human resources (HR), information technology (IT), cyber-security, communications, government affairs and environmental affairs and safety. Denise has over 40 years with Weyerhaeuser where she has broad experience in finance, risk management, HR and IT. 

She is on the Executive Board of Health Transformation Alliance Board, a cooperative of leading organizations committed to providing better healthcare for their employees and families. She is also on the advisory board for Alber’s School of Business and Economics at Seattle University and is on the executive board of International Women’s Forum of Seattle. 

Denise and her husband, John, live in Bellevue and have two grown children. Denise has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Pacific Lutheran University, a master’s in business administration from Seattle University and was a certified public accountant in the state of Washington.
