Jon Duarte

President & CEO – Overlake Medical Center & Clinics
CEO – MultiCare Health System’s North Sound Region 

Jon Duarte joined Overlake Medical Center & Clinics in April 2014. He was appointed president and CEO of Overlake and CEO of MultiCare’s new North Sound Region in January 2025. 

During his tenure at Overlake, Duarte has overseen the expansion of clinical partnerships and specialty programs that resulted in unprecedented growth for the organization. He guided the recent affiliation with MultiCare Health System, which strengthens the organizations’ long-term commitment to deliver the highest quality, most advanced healthcare to communities across Washington state.

Duarte joined Overlake as the director of strategy and was appointed chief strategy officer in 2018. He has been heavily involved in a number of pivotal efforts at Overlake, including Project FutureCare—the health system’s largest campus renewal project in its history—and key partnerships, digital transformation and the expansion of Overlake Clinics.

Prior to joining Overlake, Duarte worked for another health system in Atlanta and served as a management consultant, advising hospitals and health systems on a variety of issues and challenges. 

Duarte holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Health Administration from Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business.
