Seen on New Day Northwest: 'Inside Overlake Medical Center's comprehensive Mental Health Services'

Knowing where to go and who to turn to are extremely important when you or a loved one is seeking assistance for their mental health needs or substance use disorders.
Overlake Medical Center & Clinics has offered leading psychiatric care in the Puget Sound area since 1968, including Overlake’s Norcliffe Foundation Behavioral Health Unit, which offers voluntary inpatient treatment in a state-of-the-art facility with holistic care tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
Juan Avila, MD, and Elizabeth Gianella, Overlake Psychiatric Services manager, joined New Day Northwest to share information about the services offered at Overlake to help address many types of mental health needs and challenges.
“We really look at the patients as a whole,” said Gianella. “We really want to make sure we’re giving them everything they need to get better.”
