Seen on KIRO 7: King County Sees Uptick in Flu Cases

Jennifer Spence, MD, Overlake Clinics Downtown Bellevue Primary Care, provided insight into the recent spike in cases of influenza impacting King County and Washington state.  

From the story: "We've had a large uptick in influenza A, and now we're actually, over the past week, seeing an uptick in influenza B as well," Dr. Spence said. 

According to Public Health – Seattle & King County, flu cases accounted for more than 16,000 emergency department visits across King County during the week of Feb. 16–Feb. 22, 2025.
