Overlake Welcomes New Cardiology Physicians
Bellevue, Wash. – Overlake Medical Center announced today the addition of two new cardiologists and one registered nurse practitioner to its team of cardiology providers caring for the Eastside community.
A number of Overlake medical doctors specializing in cardiology are currently accepting new patients, including the latest additions to the Overlake Medical Clinic Cardiology team:
- Thomas Amidon, MD will join Overlake Clinics - Cardiology on hospital campus as a cardiologist starting Monday, July 27. Dr. Amidon is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, as of 2002. He graduated from Duke University’s Department of Medicine and completed his residency at Yale University’s Department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Amidon attended the University of California, San Francisco for his three year fellowship.
- Peter Kures, MD also joins Overlake Clinics Cardiology in its clinic on hospital campus in Bellevue as a cardiologist starting Monday, July 13. Dr. Kures is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. In 2011 and 2012, Dr. Kures was named a Top Doctor by Seattle Magazine. Seattle Met also named Dr. Kures a Top Doc in 2014.
