In the News: Eastside COVID-19 pop-up clinic aimed at increasing vaccination rate among Latino community

On Sunday, KING 5's Sebastian Robertson covered a pop-up COVID-19 vaccination event at Centro Cultural Mexicano, hosted by Overlake, Microsoft and EvergreenHealth. In all, 402 COVID-19 vaccines were administered during the four-hour event in Redmond.

From the story: “I think it’s a great opportunity for them to get the help that is needed in the community. And for us to beat this pandemic we need everyone to be vaccinated,” said Dr. Juan Antonio Avila, a psychiatrist with Overlake Medical Center.
