Elliot Min, MD, from the Eastside Neuroscience Institute at Overlake, shared common symptoms and treatment options for back and neck pain on KING 5 New Day Northwest.

From the segment: “Things like spinal cord compression, nerve compression that can lead to weakness in the arms or the legs, or spinal tumors generally require surgery up front, and those are things we treat very seriously," said Dr. Min. "Other conditions leading to pain, numbness, weakness or tingling are things that we try to treat with conservative treatment first, but if those things fail, that’s when we discuss surgery as an option."
