As you prepare for your surgery, you may have many questions. We have the answers as well as additional information to help you feel confident and comfortable as your surgery date approaches

Total Joint Replacement Booklets: The National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses offers educational booklets to help you and your caregivers know what to expect before, during and after your total joint surgery.

Visitor policy: Wondering who can visit you while you’re in the hospital?
Total Joint Helpline
Our Total Joint Replacement Helpline at (425) 688-5579 is available for you all day, every day. This is a nonemergency line where you can leave a message for your care team and ask questions about your upcoming total hip or total knee replacement surgery. This voicemail is checked Monday through Friday during business hours. Please allow up to one business day for a return call.
Note: If you have questions about your medications, need a prescription refill or need information related to your clinic appointment, please call your surgeon’s office directly.
Patient Finances
Business Office
The patient financial team at Overlake Medical Center’s business office is available to go over your insurance coverage and estimate your hospital bills for your surgery. Call (425) 688-5124, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
Your orthopedic surgeon’s office will work with you for your doctor’s billings.
Insurance Accepted
Overlake Medical Center accepts most major private insurance plans as well as Medicare FFS, Medicare Advantage and Apple Health.
