Overlake’s Bandage Ball Returns to In-Person Gala, Raises More than $1.3 Million

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics’ 2023 Bandage Ball gala and auction, held May 6, 2023, raised more than $1.3 million to maintain and build on the healthcare system’s exceptional care delivery.

The signature fundraiser returned to an in-person celebration at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue’s Grand Ballroom after a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic.

“This year’s Bandage Ball was a success thanks to our incredible community, who came out to show their love and support of Overlake’s remarkable healthcare heroes,” says Molly Stearns, Overlake’s Chief Development Officer. “We are grateful and inspired by our community’s generosity, which enables Overlake to continue providing the exceptional, compassionate care our patients expect and deserve.”

More than 500 people attended the event. First held in 1960 to celebrate the opening of Overlake Hospital, the Bandage Ball has raised more than $22 million in the last 23 years.
