Serving the Range of Needs

More than 50,000 people come to Overlake each year requiring emergency care. We are the Eastside’s first Level III Trauma Center, and are a designated Thrombectomy-Capable and Primary Stroke Center. We treat patients across the spectrum of emergency illnesses and injuries, specializing in heart attack services and in treating sepsis with life-saving protocols. 

Ready and Rapid

Our experts are prepared 24 hours a day, seven days a week to handle new or worsening medical conditions and accidents that cannot be treated in a doctor’s office. We do it quickly, with our providers frequently seeing arriving patients in much less time than the 21 minutes we set as our benchmark. A designated fast-care area within the Emergency Department serves people with less acute needs, such as sprains and small lacerations, helping to speed the process for everyone.

All of our emergency physicians are board certified, and every trauma nurse is certified for both adult and pediatric care. Our ER doctors have a wide range of specialties, including critical care, cardiology, surgery, trauma, neurology, orthopedics and others.
