Critical Care Unit
Overlake’s Critical Care Unit (CCU) is a 32-bed, state-of-the-art facility that provides the highest level of care for those who are seriously ill. Our collaborative, multidisciplinary team of certified and specialty-trained nurses, intensivist physicians, pharmacists and therapists cares for cardiac patients requiring the most critical cardiac assessment, monitoring and treatment.
Intensivists who are board-certified in critical care medicine are onsite 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Intensivists are trained to treat a broad range of complex medical conditions and possess unique skills for performing specialized bedside procedures. They act as the team leader to ensure each patient gets the best possible care.
As advocates for our patients, we believe in a whole-person approach to healthcare that encompasses body, mind and spirit. We strive to meet each patient’s needs with skill, compassion, and respect for dignity and privacy. Family and loved ones are a major part of this care. We welcome your presence at the bedside.
Our goal is to provide exceptional quality and compassionate care to our patients. If you have any questions, please contact us.
